The Author

Hi! As mentioned on the home page of this site, my name is Callie, and I’m a sophomore studying computer science currently. I’m also a hobbyist analog photographer who has a particular affinity for taking pictures of more urban environments, especially those that contain mass transit vehicles (what limited modes of such there are in the Twin Cities metro).

I also play rhythm games on occasion! I’m not particularly good at them, but I enjoy playing them nonetheless. I’m particularly fond of the Sound Voltex series, enough such that I have a controller of my own that I use to play the game at home which can be seen below alongside one of the many plush toys I own.

I doubt I’ll be making many posts about rhythm games given that I have much less to talk about regarding them compared to photography and the like, but anything’s possible.

As for analog photography, I’ve been shooting on 35mm film since fall of 2023 and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I’ve garnered a decent collection of equipment over the past year or so which I’ve detailed in a post on this site. Most of my posts on this site will likely be concerning my photography endeavors and the like, but I might write about more computer-y things on occasion.

The Site

This site is based off of the sveltekit-blog-starter template which serves content parsed and generated by MDsveX using SvelteKit. Additional features such as the photo gallery and responsive images were written in Svelte and implemented by myself using WebStorm on my M2 MacBook Pro 14” or my desktop computer (that I’m not particularly inclined to list the specs of), depending on where I’m located for the day.
